    +1 to Jess's comment.
Did you do the floor of the shower as-well?

Yes.. However before you paint make sure there are no issues with the current grout. If there are resolve .. Then paint.

It's not recommended for floors ... The walls and bath are now not a wild 70s flavour but it now highlights the floor... It's just a cheap rental so the care factor is zero but if I was selling I would probably paint it too...

I painted the floor of mine, it looked brilliant. I did really thick coats to hopefully make it last longer.

I've seen plenty of videos and some on the reno shows on how to do it too.
    Never done it myself though.

Just finished 2 bathrooms paint the showers with the rust-oleum stuff from bunnings.

Points 1) Apply 2 fine coats to hard trying to get a good full coverage with one coat.
    2) Have a good light pointing towards the job to see the runs.
    3) Buy a good mask to filter out the fumes. I was amazed at how much fumes it filtered out.

    Ok the after pics.
I've tried to show the good the bad and the ugly
The job looks ok from a distance but once you start sticking you nose close you can see it for what it is a painted shower.
If I was to do the job again I would be taking more time only mixing half the paint and sticking two light coats on instead of one coat.
Defiantly use a high quality face max, more time painting less time holding your breath.

Did you paint the cabinet with the same paint as tiles?

Great timing, I'm just preping my bathroom tiles now.
Hopefully have a few before and after shots in the next few days.
I've been scrubbing the tiles and repairing grout all afternoon/evening.
Hopefully have the first thin coat on tomorrow....will make sure to get a god mask ;)

And a couple of after pics.

I found it very different stuff to work with. Very very sticky, like nothing I've ever used before but as sticky as it was I found you can easily work with it for a good 60 mins or longer and even go back over missed areas well after 60 mins.
A couple of pointers ....wear gloves and tape/cover everything, the stuff does not come off. Not off fingers, floors, baths or shower frames and dries rock hard ;).
I hadnt cleaned the floor in these pics but I did need to scour and scrape the floor and there is still paint left on them.
It takes 4 times as long to paint then with normal paint, it's just so sticky.
My smallish bathroom used 1 & 1/2 packets.

Agree about the 2 light coats, this way you have less risks of runs and better chance of covering the grout areas better.
