The side of my IP (on stumps) is sinking into the ground.
Im after some options to underpin , and have been quoted $10K currently.

Has anyone used these guys (resin injection and raise)
    www.resinject.com.au

They come in cheaper but seem to inject and lift the concrete.
Not sure how it works or if it's worthwhile.

Step 1. Engage an engineer to advise the best course of action
    Step 2. Call quotes
    Step 3. Get it fixed

There's plenty of companies out there willing to take your money but whether it is the most appropriate solution is another matter.

An independent engineer may come up with an entirely different solution to eradicate the cause eg. Subsoil drainage and replace a few piers or to value engineer another method.

It's great to be able to find a contractor who can offer a solution but have they got the best solution?

Hi - I know people who have used the resin inject technology by Uretech etc with success however has has been for slab on ground applications not stumps. Are your current stumps c'crete or timber? I'd be talking to neighbours to see if they have same issue and consider contacting geotech firm with local knowledge- worse case scenario is they take a few core samples? Key is finding root cause of issue anything else is just temporary fix- good luck

Depending on how many stumps need replacement, and the height ,the adjustable tops system works well if it's in black soil ,10k sounds a bit on the high side..imho..

Current stumps are on bricks (so I guess theyd be piers)
Tenants not complaining about anything and havnt for a long time.

I was advised to do nothing and fix it when I renovate the place later on as the house isnt going to fall down anyway.
