    $6K is the minimum limit if you need to open a cc as part of the breakfree application. If you have an existing card such as a low rate card you can nominate this card under the package prior to the loan settling. You may be able to request ANZ to open a new low rate card and nominate the card under the package and then close off the platinum and keep the negotiated discount.

    If you have used a broker you can ask them to reprice your loans. If your broker has a good relationship with STG they can request product to review your rates as they give the best discounts for new and existing customers.

    STG retention are quite reasonable and I have even had clients rebated the last two years annual fee as well as better discounts.
