Replacing a terrace roof in Ultimo

Hi everyone,

My cousin's in Ultimo have some roof trouble. The local tradie says the roof of their terrace needs to be replaced. And the flashings were described as crude.

They were asking how much it would cost, and I have no idea. It's been 30 years since my parents replaced the roof in our place in Chippendale.

Does anyone on here have an idea of how much a roof replacement on a tradition terrace in Ultimo would cost?

Just the original part of the house (it's a two upstairs bedroom sort of a place - pretty standard).

I have little real idea of cost but be sure to do a thorough job, flashings and any upper level veranda roof iron as the cost of working at height can be quite expensive especially for small jobs.

 

Not even a ballpark estimate? 10k, 30k, 50k,100k?

 

I would think 10k or under, but a long time since I had any roof work done that I couldn't do myself.
