I have many halogen downlights I’m hoping to replace with LED. Are there any government subsidies for this in NSW?

I’ve seen websites advertised that they will replace everything for $59. I presume they get rebate from government as I can’t imagine them forking out the time for $59

Look on the relevant state government website (apparently there's an election in the wind and they are spruiking how much is available in savings).

I have changed over metal halide lights for led High Bays for a very small sum.

    Thanks

I don’t get it, when I search the approved suppliers the reviews are terrible. It seems like a significant saving at $59 to replace all the lights. but people have commented the companies that are approved to do this do a terrible job. How terrible can it be that people go out of their way to complain? Isn’t it either LED enabled or not LED enabled, there shouldn’t be any quality issues is there?

    No idea, they're up 7m.

The govt pays for the lights you pay for the labour .

Wow, never heard about this incentive before in NSW.
    Is it for residential only?

No, it's for the replacement of metal halide highbay lights in shops, factories & offices.
