I have had a few bills in this FY from my handyman that say things like

    "Repair and replace bathroom tap"
    "Repair and replace broken tiles"

Can these all be a once off deduction or would they count as capital works?
In their itemised summary Im assuming if the item is replaced then it cannot be immediately deducted?

How long have you been renting out the property for, Menty? If the costs relate to repairs for damage while you were renting it out, that's fine.
