    Hi,

We have 2 properties we are considering repainting in Logan. Both have the brick front base and concrete sheeting on sides and back. A full repaint will cost approximately 6-7k based on quotes.

What I want to know is, has anyone rendered the base instead of just painting and what price does this cost? There are products around like RockCoat that let you tint the render which help reduces cost.

I was thinking of a render only costs a little more I may get it applied on the front and possibly sides. If its too much we will leave it but just thought it will greatly improve street appeal.

You'd only want to render the front, keep costs down plus render will be wasted on the sheeting.

Depends on the look of the house whether render will lift it. Would be worth getting a quote to rock coat the front only and paint the rest, may not be much difference

    Will do.

I hate rendering but I'm tempted to try the RockCoat myself.

What's an average cost per sqm for RockCoat?
