hello. i have got a rental property under strara company. just had water pipe burst in ceiling strata company covered the repairs ...what if pipe leaks in wall ,or as in my case as I have been told my shower recess is leaking, and causing skirting board to come away from wall in adjacent room.
and you dont know about it, and it causes damage sometime down the track who is responsible strata company or owner
30 yrs ago strata company then said no need to get private insurance strata company has building insurance for complex since then many owners and strata company managers have come and gone and this was never brought up and I'm last of original owners left

@Bepp - can you rewrite the question without abbreviations? This is a free website and @Simon Hampel doesn't charge per character (any more) ;)

    • If your shower leaks into another of your rooms, your problem.
    • If your shower leaks into another unit, still your problem.
    • If a pipe bursts in the wall, strata problem.
