    Hello,

I own 2 residential units in Brisbane.

Currently paying 8% of rental income to a management company in exchange for their services, but that is very high.

Any recommendations on other management companies that charge a lower % ?

    Thank you!

    8% seems about right.

That's huge. I heard I can get closer to 6%.

This fee would be all-inclusive. Lower % fees will then have extra "add-on" fees.

O and it is 8% plus gst.

Yes its 8% + gst, so in total I pay 8.8% and that's just a ridiculous amount for mostly rent collection.

If you shop around you can do better than 8%, but 8% seems to be within the "market range".

The lowest rate I was quoted back in May was 6% ( inc GST) but that was a "covid" offer which jumped to 9% ( inc GST) in October.

The commission is not the only cost to consider when comparing agents quotes of course.

My rents are low in Queensland. Say $350 a week at 8% is $28. At 6% is $21.

    Seems pretty cheap.
