    Good evening ladies and gentlemen,

I'm currently learning about rental properties and I was wondering if I could please get some assistance?

I'm currently completing a CMA specifically looking at rentals whilst finding a rental is relatively simple I was wondering where I may be able to find properties that have been leased that I can compare to? I don't live near the area that I am looking in and realestate.com and Domain only show sold properties and not leased ones.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

Generally For Rent listings will suffice (as rentals are more likely to rent for the asking price when compared for for sale listings)...but only when there is a good sample of rental listings.

Remember, if you are investing out of town, your best friend is a good property manager. Get them to pre-inspect the property and give a third party rental appraisal!

If you do this, then the CMA based on For Rent listings is usually accurate enough to progress to the next stage of your DD...
