Was thinking of doing something similar to this myself

Rental brokering start-up finds opportunity in 'poorly serviced' industry | theage.com.au

Random fact added for no apparent reason
Would you pay someone to do an inspection on your behalf? Especially for interstate investors it's a decent and cheaper alternative to paying for flights/accom or committing to a BA.

i don't understand why you would pay for this service. etc i would would go off photos and then sign a contract and then get building n pest to have a look at the place and talk to them about it, if no good then bail out of the contract. well in qld you can under finance clause may be different in other states. sending a random person in could miss a lot of things?

I wouldn't. If I was going to live there I would want to do my own inspections. Perhaps it may be good for narrowing down some properties though.
