Rent out IP during April - May.

    IP in Kenmore Hills, QLD. Rent is expiry 28 Feb but The tenants have asked if they could please stay at the property till the 08/04/21. I understand that Jan & Feb are the peak time for the rental market. I am wondering if it will be hard to rent out vacant IP around April.

    February isn't really all that much busier than any other time in the year, I wouldn't consider it much different to April/May and wouldn't have a problem extending.

    Pre - Xmas and January are best avoided since nobody wants to pay any advance or deposit and leasing etc at that time. Other times of the year are all pretty well OK. April may even appeal so moving can be done Easter / Anzac day.
