"Up to" is the magic word.
The real sales will be the clearance stuff I guess.

10% off everything. Still 10% higher than bunnings. Will wait for final few weeks..

In cases like this, do they re-stock or just sell whatever they have left?

I went on the weekend and it was disappointing - I want a proper sale, not 10% off. :(

Absolutely - they're going to keep burning cash, investors and customers until the end.

Investors will feel the burn the longest.

I went out and had a look yesterday in the garden section ..Most of the gear that had for sale was 20% off, picked up several 5m--5m garden shade sails for under 200bucks,but all the S/S fit offs were over priced even at 20%,power tools --plumbing fit offs --HWS even at 10%off are still a bit in the high price range and was still more staff standing around with very few people in the store buying anything...imho..

Also, you've got to watch the prices. Floetrol 4 litres was about $60 at Masters and $50 at Bunnings.

I may go for a scavenge the day before they turn the lights off.....

WOW are eating a hell of a **** sandwich over Masters. I'm sure the bones of the misadventure will be picked over by MBA students for the next 10 years- the kicker is the turning over of some of the better sites to Bunnings. Interested to see who the next challenger to Bunnings is- it may be a while away...

Always amused when they used to refer to the Masters boss as the "texan poodle owner"- he must figure his career took a wrong turn somewhere:(

I bought a nice 1200x900 mirror. Paint wasn't cheap. Wardrobes are 30% off but the quality seems low. Not too much of interest at this stage.

I will be keen on some half price paint soon.
Guess I can just store it if I find some.

    Cheap at half the price.
Still don't really know what that saying means.

I went there today and they were still only offering pissy little 10% off already inflated prices

It's like going in there and asking how much something is, then saying "Bah, I can get it new for that."

Aldi has a great deal with 'primer/undercoat/sealer' paint for $30 for 4L. It's still half the price of the "sale" at masters. The Aldi paint is good quality imo

That sounds pretty good, might have to stock up.
Do they always have it or is it a one off?
