Renovations almost done. Valuation?

    Hey guys ,

    Renovations are almost complete and we will move into the property soon. I have read that we should order a valuation. Is this an independent valuation or through the lender?

    Does it matter how soon after the renovations?

    If it's for an equity release/refinance - it must be ordered through the lender otherwise it will not be accepted. Your broker can generally do this easily.
