    looks great, especially kitchen
you mentioned entry/exit makes it a tough gig, what about a small development, buy old home, build at rear

I have one that is corner block allowing me to retain house and build next to it. In not sure if it is worth doing it yet though. As subdividing may devalue existing block.

    great

It will devalue front and you will need to add carport

It's dependent on the numbers -

    fees associated with cutting block

build costs versus end value of new rear property and new value of front original property

    Have you looked at this?

Its about 20k to do in SA, the existing house goes down by 20k and the new block is worth 80k minus sales agents fees, taxes etc :(
