    Hi everyone,

as the title suggests I am looking to renovate the main house (2x bathrooms and small extension) in July as the builder I want can fit me in during July or not until 2023.

The granny flat on the block is currently tenanted until feb 2022. Do I need to wait until their tenancy ends to complete the renovation? There won’t be any impact to them accessing the GF during construction if I was to start.

Could they break the lease because of the construction?

I am waiting on advice from my property manager as well.

    Thanks!

If there's no impact to the tenants, then it won't affect them, unless they decide that the noise is more than they can bare.

    Thanks.
I can’t imagine it will be louder than construction carried out on neighbouring properties.
