After the last 2 days I've decided I'll never paint a house again, I'd be much better off working and paying a painter. Not that I've done a bad job but I iust can't stand painting!

Bahaha everyone loves painting! Painting is like drinking (or having kids) you say you won't do it again, but you will! :D

Haha I reckon your right! I just finished the second coat of the ceiling so the hardest bit is done. Got an apprentice painter coming to give me a hand for some extra $$. Happy days.

I prefer ceilings! Lol people less likely to spot your mistakes!
Apprentice that's the way! Get him to move the furniture and cutting in, then you just smash out the roller!

I bang triple J on after 9pm Saturday nights and it's like house painting in da club.

It's quite fun that way and has fueled 3 interior house paints so far :)

If you are not sure about what sells in a particular suburb/area, speak to a local Real Estate Agent to see what adds value in that particular area. E.g. extra bedroom? extra bedroom? a bathtub? roomy kitchen? double sink? usable backyard for entertaining?
It all depends on the demographics in that area you're renovating. Use those REA's insight and knowledge.
Reno for the sake of beautifying things don't normally add material value after all the costs.
