Yes. I am a socially awkward, horrible person who gives bad advice and has no life.

When I get a chance I will try to post some pictures of the tiling we are doing at the build. I will tag you when I do.

Haha..the one and only time I did tiling was a disaster..tiling over holes..and scrunched up paper to put in the wall to fill space and tiled over it..

Well I can assure you mine would be much worse. The closest I’ll ever get to tiling is a Night Out on the Tiles:).

My Dad renovated his bathroom about a month ago. He used a variety of tiles. And left the 1970's vanity in place. Oh, he says the pink bath will come back into fashion too....

I simply have no other comment. image.png

Nope, no good. The centre tiles don’t match the lines of the outside tiles. Do it again:p.

Here’s an interesting one. When @Perthguy redoes his job this could provide some inspiration:

    I wish.

There's no way he'd take it. There's a stubbornness (and a lack of taste?) factor. Him and mum also painted a main wall of the living room a mustard yellow colour 3 years back - to match the 1970's curtains... At least that's easily fixable.

    A man with style.

There is a rumour going around bell-bottomed trousers and bloomers will be coming back in fashion too. You've been warned.

That's two G&T's I'm owed but I'll defer the second until tomorrow.

They are different sized tiles and will never match. :D

For bonus points, the outside tiles are 10mm thick and the inside tiles are 8mm thick :cool:

I think I would have used the same size tile in a contrasting colour

Next time you go to buy tiles I think you better take @Leo2413 with you. Even he can tell which tiles are the same size:). Better still perhaps take @gockie’s dad with you. He seems to be able to match tile colours better:D.

I didn't see any I liked and it would have meant a third tile in the room. The stripe up the wall is the floor tile, which I like. What I don't like is how light that grout dried. Although it does look good with the main wall tile.
