    We've used Andy Booth for years. Recently couldn't get him for an install just before Christmas and used Jeff Thatcher (who we'd already used once before).

    Great if it requires a replacement unit i will get them to quote
    The unit is probably 20yrs old so could well be at the end of its life

    All my properties are on the southside. He has been to most of them.

    I don't know if he crosses the river or how far north he will go.

    I had a similar experience with Ashley last year. Our central air-con at our PPOR had an error code on its display. I read the manual but their solution didn't solve the problem.

    I phoned Ashley and I described the problem to him. He gave me a suggestion to try and, if it didn't work, he would have to come out.

    While on the phone, Ashley stepped me through his suggestion. It worked. No callout. No bill.

    And here was me thinking he gave me that great service because I was a repeat customer. Seems like he provides that level of service to everyone.

    Well, that is one big dent to one's ego :) :).

    This is plain old fashion good business sense, the free ad here knowing he is not looking to just replace the system when not needed is probably quite valuable.

    People like this always have plenty of work.

    I can't recommend Con at Sheer Climate Airconditioning highly enough. He went above and beyond when our Daikin system stopped working....even working on the weekend to replace parts. Our bill was the same as the initial invoice, even though the work required was so much more and he even called to follow up after it was repaired. He is based in Taigum but services all of Brisbane. 0425 289 638.
