    One observation I make is that the report needs to be read in a US context. So "broad RE market" is in a sense for the US market. You will note on p5 apartments consist of 16% (the largest) component of FTSE/NAREIT index. My gut feel that this factor would be much lower in Oz due to the large proportion of private resi ownership (and low rent) other than hotels etc.

    Hence in Oz, I tend for private resi ownership and REIT commercial/industrials.
