I do my best to empty & recycle as many glass bottles as I can.

Its not my fault they put red wine and whisky in them.

l do to but l can't control food industries and their need here in Australia to make the perfect looking food and all wrapped up in God knows what, before average people will buy it.
But what turned me off awhile ago was there was no recycling anyway it's all just a smoke and mirrors and councils trying to look like they're doing something buttttt, the whole east coasts so called recycling was all going up on trucks in the middle of the night and just dumped at the back of a small town in Sth Qld , Angels gonna love that huh. But that's where it's been going. Maybe somethings changed in the last 12mths hopefully after that being exposed .
Just checkout 60minutes probably 6-12mths back.

Should have added LMCC collect all green material, compost it and sell it back to the community.

I'm not sure who has gained the most green material in my household. I've bought lots of mulch @ $10 per uteload, and a fair quantity of soil - although the quality of the soil isn't up to other suppliers.

That’s why state govt whacked all local tips with a mega dumping “environmental levy” fee. To Discourage truckloads of waste from crossing the border. We don’t want to discourage immigration though. Keep the place nice

Three years ago I bought 8 double Bogie + Dog truckloads for the garlic patch - cost me less than $1,000 and best soil on the property!
