Club Redfern website says there's live music on Friday nights, Duck Inn doesn't mention anything specific...

Duck Inn is a quiet little local. It would be too small for anything more than a trivia night.

    Duck Inn here too.

I've only been in to Club Redfern once a few years back and the Chinese was pretty average.

I'm flexible with a start time from 5pm

Fantastic all and thanks again @Chilliblue - happy with any of the venues it seems Duck Inn is the winner. 6:30 fine if some are eating dinner.

I'll try to make it along if i get out of work at a sensible hour. Vote for The Duck Inn too. The food is yummy and their resident cat is super friendly.

One time he fell asleep on my lap!

Will confirm on Friday if I can make it.

2 hour street parking I'd say from broadly knowing the area. Or Broadway shopping centre is close by if you really can't find any street parking, but I suspect you'll be able to park on street not far away.

Ps. If you are early go for a wander to Pine st, theres some street mosaics. Particularly have a look at the corner of Pine and Daniels... :)

One random tidbit... I would have once carted a washing machine past the Duck Inn (probably December 2014)... I rolled it down Cleveland Lane on a hand tolley. The slope made it easy...

Did you buy the second hand washing machine from a store on city road? I rented in chippendale years ago... sigh, buying property wasn't on my mind. all i remember is that my old car was broken into...i left 50 cents in the centre console.
