recommended solicitor / conveyancer in Melbourne

HI All,

just after recommendations for a solicitor in the Melbourne area for a property transaction. Will consider a conveyancer as well but my thinking is that these days there usually isn't a huge cost difference like in the dark old days, so the extra protection a solicitor can give is probably worth the premium

Pam is a conveyancer, but she works for solicitors who specialise in property law (amongst other things).

A solicitor is better positioned to give legal advice but I find conveyancers to be much more competent at actually getting the job done. I prefer to use conveyancers who work out of a legal office, you tend to get the best of both.

I am from Sydney and have bought a property in Werribee, VIC. Do you know any good Conveyancers in/around the area. I am looking for a 'value of money' Conveyancer.

I have taken the note of the above mentioned Conveyancers.
Any others you might know? Also what do they charge for their services (I have bought a lot and will be building a house on it)?

Cheap rarely means good. I know of a few lost cost providers in my area that are hopeless! They undercut the market - then can't keep up with demand.
