Recommendations for Bris Accountant

Hi All,

Just starting out in property investment with my first IP to go unconditional in the coming days. Looking for recommendations for an accountant in the Brisbane area preferably south side.

Hey @Hanso. Congrats on the first IP. Where'd you buy?

Regarding the accountant, a lot of folks on here (myself included) have members of their team (accountant, broker etc) in totally different states. Many have never met one another.

The internet has made the world a much smaller place which means you don't need to limit yourself to someone nearby–unless you're very traditional and need that face-to-face experience. This allows you to seek out the best help you can, regardless of geography. Skype, email and phone are a great combo.

I purchased a place in UMG, you might even know the property.

I thought I would try local first as I do like a face to face. That said my broker is in Sydney and that seems to be working well so far.
