We need to update our wills - can anyone recommend a good Sydney based solicitor who specialises in wills and such - someone who knows how to deal with family trusts etc.

My local one is great with wills etc, but don't know whether or not you want to travel to the Hills :)
If so, let me know and I'll pass his details onto you.

    Hi Muppie

If you go to the Queensland Law Society website: www.qls.com.au there's a quicklink on the homepage called "find a lawyer".

Click on that and then click on "Find an accredited specialist". The specialisation you want is called "Succession" (lawyerspeak for wills and stuff :p ).

When I ran the search there were two pages of names to choose from.

The specialist accreditation should mean the lawyer in question knows his or her stuff on wills.

    Cheers

That QLS site is great - I know the guys who built it - built using IBM Workplace Services Express and IBM Workplace Web Content Management :D

I've been nagging them to fix the menus so they work better in Firefox :(

    ... but I digress!

i have used Ray Ward from Kells the lawyers in Castlereagh St SYdney for a few clients of late and found him across the issues.

Margaret Antunes in North Syd is also very good

Stay away from mine........he's trying to kill me! :D

As he runs ultramarathons.......as soon as I mentioned I used to run marathons, he wanted my now older and less fit body back on the track immediately!

He's prompted me to make a start again of sorts though..........

    Where there's a Will there's a way.........

    :D

Any Melbourne recommendations? I know in this day and age we don't need
face time but it's nice to know there's someone close at hand to throttle when
it all goes bad :) And, of course, there's state laws to contend with.

    Hi Andrew,

Clive Nicholson (Katrina's dad) has helped many of my clients and I have received very good feedback regarding his efficiency, professionalsm etc. (And at good prices too)

Seems the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree :)

    Contact Katrina for further details.

    Regards,
    Steve
