Give my mate Ross a call 0406424771. He is from minchinbury. He will look after you.

I gave Ross a call, but didn't realise how expensive it would be ($300 during business hours or $600 outside of businesss hours :-/ ) The quickest/cheapest fix someone has suggested to me is buy a new lock from bunnings and either do it yourself or get a handyman. Thanks anyway! :)

Wow sorry about that. I didn't realise it would be that expensive either. What sort of lock is it? Just a standard or is it a tri lock?

Geez, I better get the kids to do a locksmithing apprenticeship - better rates than plumbing and you don't have to put up with ......

Not a problem. I think it's just a standard lock. I picked one up from Bunnings ($40) earlier and will give it a go installing tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

Hehe. I feel he may have over-quoted as he didn't really want the job. He did keep telling me how busy he was. Some people would probably pay it.. so get your kids onto these apprenticeships :)

If it's just a standard lock then it is easy to install. Anyone can do it. You just have to screw on the new one. If you get stuck then you tube is your friend or I am happy to answer any questions. Just takes pics and I can guide you through it.

We installed the lock for a grand total of $40 (the price of the lock). Was quite simple to do. Thanks everyone! :)
