Received this email related to ANZ, is it a scam, and if not, is it important in any way?

It was a long email, too much to try to read in a phone screen.

I feel like sending them my account details and PIN, wait 2 days and verify if it's a scam. Alternately have an accident and lodge a claim......whao... look what I found....

That centrefold leaves sooooo little to the imagination (What would you expect when it's titled "The law laid bare").

 

I couldn't help it. I figured every magazine has a centre and as a long shot the wrong picture spread may have found its way in.

 

IT is a real court action, Slater and Gordon.

ANZ Consumer Credit Insurance Class Action

 

There are several actions underway as class actions against banks. Wesptac has 4 ...and so on. There is no requirement to act. Unless you opt out you are a member of the class. If its successful the court orders will require the bank to advise all affected customers. I can see this becoming spam heaven. All dodgy sorts will make messages to "click here". Just wait and see if they send you a direct letter if it gets up as a case decision. In 6 months to three years
