At least he answered the phone. (But still a disgrace)

Most places you call you get the receptionist, who then passes on the inquiry to a selling agent, and if they are busy they won't call you back.

No excuses for rudeness in any business, regardless of what it is.

Yeah but I was going to find that quote and use it. We'll just change your name to Quickdraw! Some things just stay the same just time moves on.

I'm going thru the painful selling process with agent, who just doesn't reply my call ( as a vendor ) because he is on holiday! I haven't been informed he would be on leave nor his assistant was helpful enough to locate where the contracts are. I can't believe I am actually paying for this ****.

I really enjoy it when the property settles and you can pull one on the agent and tell them "Sorry decided to do the property management with someone else"

What does the licensee of the business say?

Are they part of a franchise that you can complain to?

Be careful with the way you handle a selling agency especially if you are looking at purchasing more in that area.

Having been in the game for a number of years I have a couple memorable experiences with REA's.

We went to an open for a unit and the agent was late so we milled around with everyone else waiting impatiently. A girl turned up in a black cotton skirt (t-shirt type material) and flip flops, she was the agent...

During the last boom we had an agent who did a great job auctioning housing commission properties, often post fire, the people bidding obviously had not idea what the market prices were as the agent would take the under bidders around to other properties that were ready to rent and cheaper than the auctioned property. So one auction would lead to multiple sales on the day.

He did a great job but he had not time for us at the time never returning calls. When the market slowed he rang us all the time chasing sales but we never bought anything from him.

Interestingly enough his name was Aaron.
