    Hi everyone,

Thanks for taking time to read my question.
I was wondering what questions I should have in my arsenal to ask a solicitor/conveyancer for the land(specifically) we are looking forward to purchase and/or property in general.

Sounds like you're planning to have a fight with your solicitor.

Read the contract first. if you don't understand, flag it with your solicitor. there could be so many questions and some could be irrelevant.

    Where are you buying?

If your not that familiar with property, I suggest a good solicitor as they should be advising you about the property and the contract.

A solicitor should explain the contract for land to you and you can then ask if you don't understand. are you buying land or H and L package? the solicitor should inform you what the terms of settlement is and what you need to prepare for settlement, funds etc.

Thanks. Yes, not familiar with the property and area.
As this is my first purchase, wanted to be wary of any pitfalls.
