Its just sydney and melbourne, property and rentals just too ridiculously expensive. Its just the banks and gov profiting from high property prices, essentially enslaving the commom folk with loans and credit.

If u move to a cheaper city, same money buys a lot more.

Potentially 3 months until an election and I am already completely over ScoMo and his whinging rants.

At least Bill rants without the sound of desperation ... not that I am a Labor fan either

Obviously a big beautiful wall needs to be built along the entire northern coastline.

I'm really disappointed in the Australian people - LNP approval rating has increased on the back of such fearmongering and concocted untruths

When you look at the Federal Labor latest opinion poll ,Labor leads by a very small margin and the mess last time round over boarder protection ..

Today's poll showed a closing of the gap - which could only be attributed to the border scenario as the government hasn't done anything else worth noting

I agree, but from what i'm told Bill Shorten would want to pour himself a strong whisky ,then take a aspirin chaser because this is going to be a dirty lead up too the election, and nevertheless issues like this have a cumulative and negative effect and will become more pressing on the Australian voters as time passes..

Frankton lakefront just outside Queenstown NZ is looking better each day..

The cynic in me thinks that sometime soon we will see a boat get through the Border Force cordon and lob on a mainland beach - probably one in easy reach of TV news crews. Then the government can say, 'See, it's started already. Just the sniff of a Shorten government is enough to get the boats coming.'
