    1. What level of overall happiness/satisfaction do you feel in life atm, meaning say over the last 6 months to present. Emphasis more so on present.

    2. And what 1 factor would have the greatest impact to increasing your happiness.

Let's keep it simple. 0-10. 0 is suicide is imminent, 10 is bliss.

For me, 8/10. And international travel would have the biggest impact to increase my happiness.

    A 7 here?
A few things are pretty beige, but it is offset by the fact that I worked my derriere off and achieved a few life goals. Feeling great about that.

    Can't WAIT for international travel.
Whenever that happens I will be ready!

If the ******* banks were held to account. If microsoft went bust. If the climate was improved. If politicians became honest.

None of these are 'when' they are 'if'.

    8 is a fair call.
My work is completely ok, the weather is good. I would love to not be confined to the 5km radius (my suburb is in tighter restrictions due to the LGA but we have 28k residents in my postcode and as of stats I saw yesterday, only recorded 1 case of Corona) and I would love travel to open up….

    I'd say 9-ish.

Few things make life pretty gooood:
    • Family's is great, both the immediate one (teenager kids are doing really well in life, navigating the challenges very well) and my extended one.
    • Work is sweet. It's easy, flexible and pays really well.
    • Recently achieved something I wanted for very long time (god knows why): an acreage with stunning views.
I managed to buy one, and even tho it's an IP, the knowledge it's mine - make me feel happy.
    • I love where I live. It's a quite township at the outskirts of Melbourne.
Very close to anything, but quite and have very strong community feel.

We find some of the most simple things we do nowadays brings us the most contentment, eg sitting by a lake on a grassy area having a picnic in beautiful weather with no one around but the 3 of us.

Feeling blessed at the moment as left NSW in early June, prior to any border lockdowns and the onslaught of winter. Headed to Karumba in the gulf as I did last year. 32 degrees here at present!:)
Venture out fishing most mornings with regular catches of various species.
    No desire for O/S travel.
Will head back to Yamba in November, when the place has warmed up!

Had to google Karumba, never heard of it before. The croc tours look interesting. The heat would totally destroy me. I love the cooler weather.

If you're really waiting on these things to change in order to be happy, you're gonna spend the rest of your life unhappy imho.

I don't do COLD very well. A lot of visitors find the humidity oppressive and don't stay more than a couple of days. ;)

Certainly not as bad as it gets during the build up prior to the wet (October,November, December)
A lot of visitors are from regions that are quite cold at this time of year and struggle with acclimatising. It is surprising how many folk are here from Victoria that have been on the road for months and yet still find it too hot.
I have found that most Queenslanders that are here from other areas think it is lovely.
It can be funny here with sometimes a somewhat dry heat and other times far more humid. It is 28 degrees now with around 30% humidity.......Bliss!

I am too accustomed to the cool of my home, it seems I don’t like heat anymore. Even if I step outside and it’s 23 degrees, I notice the warmth. Maybe put me in a warmer climate for a while and I’ll be fine, but if I have sudden changes I’ll get a shock.

Did a stopover in Doha on the way home from our last European trip (Late July/ Early Aug 2019) :(, my god, it was so unpleasant. Happy to have done that once, but would not do it again.
