Raising the roof - portal frame

    Hi all,

    I have a steel portal frame shed and the current roof is too low, approx 2.0m. I want to be able to get a hoist in with clearance so I will need a min of 3.4m. Is it possible to raise the roof ? Im open to any and all suggestions. (located in Adelaide)

    Chop columns. Lift roof with crane. Insert riser columns. Lower roof back on

    have you looked into jacks ? Work out your roof weight. Get a bunch of mates, high lift jacks and all raise the roof! :)
