Hi, I am thinking of changing my home insurance and landlord insurance from AAMI to RACV?

Has anyone used RACV Home Insurance or RACV Landlord Insurance? Is it good? Thanks.

Call racv up and ask them a hypothetical question such as,
If a robber breaks into the house through the roof and steals your fixtures and fittings, pees on the carpets and curtains, punches holes in walls and breaks all your windows whilst your tenant is away.
During the time your tenant isn't there, it happens to rain. Because your robber made a hole in the roof, the water damages the floorboards in one section. Your floorboards are from a certain year and can't be matched.

Ask racv, how many claims will be made and how many excesses need to be paid?
Ask racv, will they completely replace all the floorboards that run into the other rooms or just that room to a close match?

Then when you have your answers, call terry scheer and stress less.
