If you look towards the bottom half of this page (on the left) you will see a "Travel Calculator" with tabs "Stage 1" and "2" stations:

Australia's Biggest Public Transport Project | Sydney Metro

I notice some of the stations I'm trying to find more information about (North Strathfield, Burwood North) aren't anywhere to be seen. They are definitely confirmed to be part of the Metro project, but there's just not trace of them in either the Stage 1 or 2 dropdown lists. Are they scheduled for much later (presumably stage 3)? Or is there something else to it that I'm not seeing?

EDIT: Ok I think I see now, there hasn't been any date set on the western line yet so it's probably too premature to be talking about estimated travel times etc. Stage 2 is scheduled for 5 years after stage 1...so Stage 3 is 2030 or thereabouts?! Yikes. Yeah pretty confident I just answered my own question :)
