    Hello all,

Maybe a bit of a newbie question. Have signed the contract on my first IP to settle Jan Next Year. Have a clause subject to Building and Pest which is being done this week.

Should I organise the Quantity Surveyor now to conduct a deprecation schedule or do I need to wait for settlement?

    Thanks as always

There is no need to rush. Good to do it before tenants move in and muddy the waters. Sometimes agents aren't keen on us going before settlement.

That Makes sense. May have a chat to my BA and understand if the agent would be happy pre-settlement otherwise can do it post but before someone moves in

    Cheers
