    Hi

Hoping to seek clarity in terms of first home buyer stamp duty exemption in QLD.
If I were to buy a house that is tenanted for another 6 months, would I still be eligible for first home buyers stamp duty exemption? Or is the property deemed an investment property due to current tenancy?

We do intend on moving in after the lease expires.

    Thanks in advance
    Brad

All good found the answer I was looking for - pretty much have 6 months to move in from date of sale and allow tenants to finish their lease which is fair I say
