I hear brain insertion on a Pom is technically very difficult and hence very expensive :p.

It's looking like ALP will stay in power, but it's unclear at this stage whether in majority or minority.

    Latest figures indicate a majority.

Glad to see the education system in Australia is advanced enough that we, the voters, will research and question and make informed decisions ... rather than be dictated to by the Murdoch press

Looks like an increased majority for ALP and less seats for LNP.

I haven’t read the full analysis but all/most of the Sunshine Coast (a major tourist area) had a red swing. Two seats swung from LNP to ALP. So much for all the Mexicans whinging about our borders being closed.

Not sure about the Gold Coast.

LNP was hoping to win the three seats in Townsville. It looks like all three will be won by the ALP.

The big loser was One Nation.

Last night much was said by COVID elections favouring the incumbent because voters don’t want risk change in the middle of a pandemic. For example, NZ.

My view is that is true but only if the incumbent is doing a good job.

The real test for the above theory will be this coming Tuesday.

Yep, unfortunately Murdoch's been very successful in working against the interests of this country so last night was a refreshing result.

Good to see the ghost is out of the bottle and you won't get it back in again with the Green's win over Jackie Trad in West End on the inner south-side now they have mass support to advance and protect that small riverfront area and the interests of the rate paying public..

Governments are only as good as their opposition. Won't surprise me if Trump gets up too.

If ever I'm unemployed I'm moving to QLD. It's the place to be.

    Looks like
Looks like the Fed Govt did not hand out lots of money to regional newspapers or Murdoch did not put much money in it either and so disappointed for LNP & PHONEY

What happens to Nationals in QLD? are they not a strong party like the one in NSW?
