    Hi

A former tenant wants to take us to the tribunal (QCAT) over a bond dispute. AFAIK, it may take more than 8 weeks. Can the property be back on the market prior to the hearing/ruling? Can we take on a new tenant prior to the hearing/ruling?

Yes. Sounds like the tenants have left and are only disputing something to do with the bond refund split up or calculation? Do you have a property manager?

From the information you have provided yes.

If the tenant was still in the property then no but as they are disputing the bond after they left that is a separate issue that doesn't need to impact getting a new tenant.

Absolutely! The Property Manager should have all the photos and documents needed to deal with the tribunal claim without getting in the way of having it re-rented.
