    Hi everyone

I’m looking to purchase a property in Sydney. This particular property has had an extension done (2nd floor). When reading through contract & asking the agent/owner for DA approval for this they’ve claimed to have lost the paper work & that the local council don’t have a record of this due to there building being burnt down in a fire. After contacting the council they’ve confirmed that indeed there was a fire in which some of there records were lost & don’t have records for this particular property besides a pool application. I’d love some advice guidance here as to my options. Do I walk away & look elsewhere or are there other options I can explore.

    cheers
