    Hey all

I'm looking to purchase rangehood, upright oven and stove (60cm) and dishwasher for IP in Newcastle.
I've looked at The Good Guys online.

Is there any retailers that sell factory seconds etc like http://www.2ndsworld.com.au/ ?

    Any info appreciated.

appliancesonline.com.au I usually find them pretty good. They are Winning Appliances who have an outlet in Newcastle. I got a stove, cocktop and rangehood from them for a reno - $948 all up for Westinghouse appliances..

I prefer to buy local, that way if there's an issue they can sort it out.

Free delivery within 20k's of a store if you spend >$500 (ends 30 Sep)
    Negotiate bulk purchase price

If you can do the cabinetry (Ikea have units - http://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/S69099918/) Ceramic flat-top stoves are much easier to clean/keep looking good compared to ones with chrome rings etc that get stuff burnt on them, impossible to remove.

Wasn't aware of that, although our Council has verge pickups two times a year, or I take all that sort of stuff to the scrap metal yard in the LIA, don't get anything for it but at-least I know its being recycled, not landfill

OK, a silly question. Do I have to pay for new kitchen, painting and appliances from my offset account against the IP loan or does it not matter? I can claim for depreciation for new kitchen, appliances etc? I just want to use the right funds for the purchases.
