My info must be wrong. Can't even get help stepping around those godforsaken responsible lending laws!!

I thought that was a point for the brokers! My mistake.

Doesn't really matter how long you've been in the industry, it's what youve achieved in that time and what knowledge you bring. Eg, someone that started as a lone ranger with no mentor for 10 years may have the same experience and knowledge as someone that's been In the game for 3 years but been mentored by a top 100 broker in Australia.

Keep in mind the potential tax implications as per @Terry_w ’s posts re reimbursement for cash paid for a IP.
Depending on where the cash came from (other loans) could potentially lose deductibility of interest forever.

    Seek professional advice on this.

I've got a strange feeling from your posting style that the broker probably didn't want your business

Yes, Ur right. I had put it down to my blue face, but if he had done some impressively deep analysis, it could be posting style.

It's something I am working on ..... suggestions?

I suggest you do things yourself, I can't see it working out for you any other way

    Yes. Too far gone perhaps?

Second rate outcomes might be fine. Lower expectations and all of that.
