Is it better to get the weekly deduction which adds extra money to offset weekly compared to waiting til tax time to get one lump sum? As interest is charged daily it makes sense to do a payg form to me?

    What do you guys do?

I have a PAYG variation in place. Helps with cashflow. Better in my pocket now than waiting a year for it come tax time.

Do you and your partner do 50/50?

Depends on individual cashflow position & amount of variation IMO.
