    Hi All,

I purchased an apartment hoping to rent it after around one year. After purchasing it I realized that all energy (Electric, Gas, Hot Water) is under embedded network called Arc Energy. From the reviews it seems like they are not a genuine company and bills are to the roof (no usage statistics + late bills with surcharge + we'll have to pay whatever mentioned in bills / no negotiations).

As it seems, there is a possibility for us to switch Electricity to some other provider (still have to pay ~1 AUD per day as supply charge to Arc). Other providers also need around 3 months to give the supply and Arc Energy also comes with 10 day cooling off period.

I'm seeking for advise on how to minimize the involvement of Arc Energy as much as possible and strategies to switch to other suppliers / alternatives to reduce payments.

    Thanks
