    Hi All,

    I am JJ,30 single male (I know this is not a dating site but...). Moved to Australia about a decade ago to do my masters. I am looking to buy a PPOR somewhere not too far from the CBD as I don't want to spend 4 hours travelling each day to work and back. I only have 50k cash (stretching it) and got a pre approval from the bank for 500k. I am looking for something that cost 450k as I don't want to survive on cup noodles after owning a place. Currently renting in Pasco Vale and like the suburb and surrounding areas. I am probably 100k short of what the market wants though. Anyways, looking forward to listening to everyone's thoughts on this forum. Have a good day :)

    LOL thanks for the tip Tom.

    So 3 weeks is what I spent on the search!
    Bought this townhouse for 18k over the median price and 5k below the asking price) it was a Pvt sale). It will be ready in 4 weeks (final stage of construction) and the settlement date is in 6 weeks. I am sure I will learn from this experience but hopefully will not turn out to be too expensive :p

    Looks great, nice warm brick and tile construction. Dark brick and flat roofing is all the rage right now, I'm a big fan.
