Hi All, I am JJ,30 single male (I know this is not a dating site but...). Moved to Australia about a decade ago to do my masters. I am looking to buy a PPOR somewhere not too far from the CBD as I don't want to spend 4 hours travelling each day to work and back. I only have 50k cash (stretching it) and got a pre approval from the bank for 500k. I am looking for something that cost 450k as I don't want to survive on cup noodles after owning a place. Currently renting in Pasco Vale and like the suburb and surrounding areas. I am probably 100k short of what the market wants though. LOL thanks for the tip Tom. So 3 weeks is what I spent on the search! Bought this townhouse for 18k over the median price and 5k below the asking price) it was a Pvt sale). It will be ready in 4 weeks (final stage of construction) and the settlement date is in 6 weeks. I am sure I will learn from this experience but hopefully will not turn out to be too expensive
Looks great, nice warm brick and tile construction. Dark brick and flat roofing is all the rage right now, I'm a big fan.
