Check the Qld land titles office website for a list of service providers who will perform the searches & get these documents.

Search realestate.com.au for previous sales of the property or submit a Freedom of Information request to council for previous development approvals.

It may not have sold in a long time or council don't hold the records.

As mentioned, lodge a Freedom of Information request with the council.

All the plans are in the public domain.

I have a form from the council, ps1 but requires the following:

copy of executed sale, copy of written authorisation of current land owner, signature of owner authorising this search

How old is the building? Council may not hold the records anymore.

    A FOI request doesn't require owner's consent.

that's most likely there non FOI process to get some documents.

follow the FOI process here, but address it to the council
