    Hi all,

While many/most of us here are property investors who have built up a property portfolio over time, we also tend to be professionals and business owners who may have started our careers in different areas (e.g. technology, accounting).

Are there any diplomas or online courses available which provides real estate education covering any/all of the following areas, in regards to Australian real estate?
    • Get a fundamental understanding of the Australian property market.
    • Knowledge regarding the property markets each of the 6 states and 2 territories in Australia.
    • A clear understand of zoning information and laws for each of the 6 states and 2 territories in Australia.
    • Understanding of all the key stakeholders/groups involved with Australian real estate.
    • Overview of the different types of real estate - e.g. residential, commercial.
If anyone could share courses/education providers they are aware of that would be good. While we can research the above information ourselves online via different resources, it would be great to see if we have a single place where this education is provided in an effective way. The preference would be to get a formal certification at the conclusion of the course to ensure the training is solid and credible.

Look forward to getting some further info on this.

    Thanks.

The intent is to get the education from a credible source, not from some half-baked place.

Many masters are 'nested qualifications' that means you can do a certificate of, Graduate certificate of. Usually 4 units. Then you may later decide that you want to do more units and get a Masters. So its a much better way than dinky certificates under AQTF (old days TAFE level) to go for AQF under uni.

Not sure about WSU but many do offer the grad certificate/grad diploma as earlier exit points.

Has anyone heard anything about the course run at ADPI? APDI - Advanced Property Development Courses CPD Accredited
I was recommended it by a friend, just working in the costs into some feasibilities before I jump in. Could be what your looking for.. Focussed purely on development, online, complete in less than a year and really relevant information.
