    Hi all

Can anyone recommend a good Property Manager who services the Moreton Bay region?

Debating whether to switch from my current PM who has been quite unresponsive of late.

    Cheers

Cheers for the tip. Have heard them mentioned before and will consider them. This time I am going to give a few different agencies a call and see who best fits what I am looking for.

+1 Mareea. Excellent pre-purchase involvement and has been fantastic since as PM.

    Hi

Check out the threads on the forum to explore which PM service works for you. Ask how many properties a Principal of an agency expects each PM to manage. From our experience, it is critical to cap case loads to ensure follow through and quality services which will be reflected in the way a boutique property management business is structured.
Send a message to a few agencies and see how long it takes to receive a response and the quality of the response...take your time to choose a PM service that works for you as this is a critical business relationship.

Enjoy the exploration process to source the right PM to meet your needs.

Great to hear positive feedback about a quality property management service - its all about respectful dialogue, responding to email/calls, integrity and follow through on presenting matters

Spot on Diligent PM. So many people focus on the fee rather than the attributes that make not only a good PM, but the policies that make an agency stand out to support their PMs. I've always been of the belief that a good PM should also have knowledge about property investing which has always been a challenge when finding PMs outside of our service area in other states for my own portfolio.

Of course, communication, accountability and service should all be paramount to your decision and as DiligentPM has suggested, one great way to test this is through your initial interactions with the agency.

    Good luck!
