    Hi,

    Looking to get some recommendations for property managers/agent to manage my first IP in Hoppers Crossing (Melbourne).

    Should I look for the big brands like Hockingstuart, Barry Plant or go for boutique management? If yes, can you please recommend?

    Any advice on this is appreciated.

    I've been enjoying @Sharyn C posts and also note she's located in Werribee. I don't know what her actual work is like as I've not met her, but I like when people know what they're on about.

    Also wondering what fee structure should I expect for the property management? I am sure they its % based. Should I expect extra charges?

    Also i have heard agents offer a one stop solution for everything - Like offering insurances, handyman services, fire alarm servicing etc.

    Are these services worth it?

    The agent that I got the IP from, sent me a property management leaflet which states the provide all the above services and does not take any commission at all :)

    @afterbuddha it is not so much about the brand, but more so about finding the best person to manage your rental property.

    Don't just go with the mob that sold you the house either, until you have done due diligence and you're 100% sure they are the best people to manage your new asset. The sales team and the rental team are very different sets of people.
