Hello, newbie here. I am currently living in a 2x2 condo in the US, which I bought (in cash) when I moved here. I'll be returning to Australia in a couple of months and plan to rent it out. It's a large complex in a good neighbourhood with low vacancy rates, typically rented to graduate students and young professionals. Does anyone have any experience of how property management differs in the US? It seems that it's separated out from real estate agencies here. I've had a look at some companies and will be talking to the complex manager this week, but I wanted to ask from an Australian perspective what the "unknown unknowns" are. TIA
