Property management fee 7% is it too high?

    Brisbane is kinda cheap on their letting & renewal fees compared to other cities, no idea how they afford it

    As a local to the area- you can get fees as low as 3.3%... would I trust the poor overworked and underpaid pm at these companies to deliver good service and not miss anything? No way. Easy example- they’re so busy, they forget to advertise your property until the tenant moves out- simple error, a date missed, two to three weeks of advertising lost- that alone wastes the money you ‘saved’ on discount fees.

    Amen. God only knows how I would survive with a full set of overheads (office full of good staff) in Logan as a PM only specialist. The only reason most of those businesses can survive on low fees is because they use PM to farm sales listings- as a Landlord there you can usually expect to be treated with an attitude in line with those priorities.
